Moore Design Studio presents Bonbeach Residence, a modern coastal interior design project that reimagines a 1970s clinker‑brick home through refined spatial planning, warm materiality and a calm, contemporary Australian aesthetic. The design honours the original structure while introducing a thoughtful extension that enhances natural light, flow and everyday functionality.

The interior was completely re‑planned to strengthen circulation and create a clearer relationship between living, kitchen and bedroom zones. Window, door and skylight placement was refined to draw light deeper into the home, improve sightlines and support a stronger indoor–outdoor connection which is a defining element of this modern coastal design.
A soft, tonal palette anchors the home, with vertical detailing, curated lighting and crafted joinery creating continuity throughout. The kitchen forms the heart of the interior, featuring Moroccan porcelain benchtops, a shadow‑line profile and custom 2pac cabinetry with a slim shaker detail. Skylights, a nib‑wall bedhead and generous glazing introduce moments of calm and clarity, reinforcing the home’s warm, modern coastal identity.

Bonbeach Residence is a study in intentional design, a home shaped through considered spatial planning, natural light and material warmth. The result is a refined, contemporary coastal interior that feels grounded, inviting and deeply connected to its architectural origins.
