Moore Design Studio presents the Toorak Residence Bathroom Renovation, a warm, textural transformation shaped by real‑world constraints and a clear design vision. With an interstate client, a rental property, failed waterproofing and a tight turnaround requiring in‑stock materials, the project demanded clarity, intention and a highly considered approach to spatial planning.

The existing bathroom layout was re‑designed to improve flow between the shower, vanity and bath zones, creating a more open, balanced and intuitive space. Warm, tonal tiles wrap the interior, grounding the room and forming a soft, cohesive envelope. A custom timber vanity introduces warmth and tactility, paired with a clean white benchtop and understated fixtures that support a calm, contemporary aesthetic.

Handmade zellige tile, soft lighting and thoughtful detailing elevate the room beyond its constraints, demonstrating that beautiful bathroom design doesn’t require perfect conditions, just a clear vision, refined materiality and an intentional approach to layout and function. The result is a modern bathroom renovation that feels serene, textural and quietly elevated.
